NYT: Trump Kept Over 300 Classified Documents On His Estate

Former US President Donald Trump kept at least 300 secret documents on his estate in Mar-a-Lago. Trump handed over about 150 classified papers to the US National Archives and Records Administration in January, according to The New York Times. Later, in June, representatives of the ex-president of the United States gave the rest of the materials to the Ministry of Justice. Another part of the classified documents were seized during a search of the estate in Mar-a-Lago in early August.

Earlier, The Wall Street Journal, citing an inventory of items, reported that FBI agents found 11 sets of secret documents during a search of the estate.

The FBI is investigating Trump for potential violations of the espionage law.
