Massive Fire In Delhi; 60 Huts Destroyed By Fire; 7 Deaths

7 killed in Delhi Gokulpuri fire 60 huts were burnt down. The fire was reported early Saturday morning. The fire was put out by 13 fire units after receiving information.

Atul Ghark, director of the Delhi Fire Brigade, told ANI news agency that the blaze was reported at around 1 am.

People who were sleeping seemed to be in danger when the fire broke out. About sixty cages were completely destroyed by the fire. Atul Garg added that the cause of the fire was being investigated. North East Additional Deputy Commissioner Devesh Kumar Mahla said police and firefighters rushed to the scene soon after receiving information about the blaze. By 4 p.m., the fire was completely under control.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has expressed grief over the incident. Will be going to the place soon. Kejriwal tweeted that he would meet the victims in person. Forensic experts have arrived at the spot for a detailed examination.
