It turns out that various physical exercises, and power loads on the body, reduce the likelihood of liver cancer. Such a discovery could greatly change the current situation with this terrible disease. At the moment, almost 700 thousand people a year die from this diagnosis in the world.
Hepatocellular carcinoma accounts for half of all recorded cases of liver cancer in patients. If this disease can indeed be prevented by physical activity, then crowds of people will queue up at the gym, run out for runs and do morning exercises. The researchers conducted experiments on two groups of mice. They fed some animals with fruits and vegetables, cereals and other healthy food, but the second one was not lucky – the representatives of this group ate fatty foods, which made them sick. Then the animals were divided into four subgroups. Vegetarian mice were divided into those who led an active lifestyle and those who were lazy. Their relatives, lovers of tasty fatty foods, also divided into two such subgroups. One part of the animals spent on the treadmill for an hour a day, the rest just lay in their favorite corner of the cage.
In just eight months, more than 70% of the vegetarian mice began to suffer from small tumors, and those animals that did not engage in physical activity all got sick. As for the athletes, they had almost no malignant tumors. These results led scientists to believe that an active lifestyle helps the body stay healthy.
It turns out that a person who regularly plays sports is not afraid of liver problems, cancer or obesity. The study’s lead professor states, “An active lifestyle is very important for many things, but it appears to be most important for the liver.
